Terms and Conditions

1. General Information

These Terms & Conditions apply to all car rentals made with Corfu Cars. We operate from two convenient stations: our Airport Shuttle Service at Corfu Airport and our Central Office next to the airport at Riga Fereou 21. By making a reservation, you agree to the following rental terms.

2. Driver Requirements

  • Minimum driver age: 21 years.
  • A valid driving license held for at least one (1) year is required.
  • EU licenses are accepted. Non-EU renters must present a valid International Driving Permit (IDP).

3. Rental Rates

  • All prices include Full Damage Waiver (FDW) insurance, unlimited mileage, VAT, 24/7 roadside assistance, and free airport shuttle service.
  • There are no excess charges and no deposits required.
  • Optional FDWUG insurance (Wheels, Undercarriage, Glass) is available at a small daily fee.

4. Insurance Coverage

Your rental price always includes FDW. For extra peace of mind, FDWUG may be added. However, insurance does not cover damages in the following cases:

  • Driving off-road or on unpaved roads
  • Damage caused by burnt clutch
  • Traffic law violations or fines
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs

5. Fuel Policy

Cars are rented with a specific fuel level and must be returned with the same level (same-to-same policy).

6. Payment Policy

  • No prepayment is required when booking online.
  • Payment is made on arrival at Corfu Airport or at our Central Office.
  • We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards.

7. Booking & Cancellation

  • Reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to your arrival time.
  • No-shows: If you do not show up, your booking is automatically cancelled, and the vehicle is released. No fees apply.

8. Pick-up & Drop-off

  • Pick-up and drop-off are available at Corfu Airport via our free shuttle bus service.
  • Our Central Office at Riga Fereou 21, next to the airport, is also available for pick-up/drop-off.
  • Out-of-hours service may be available upon request.

9. Additional Drivers & Extras

  • Additional drivers are allowed, provided they meet the license and age requirements.
  • Baby seats, GPS, and other extras are available upon request.

10. Traffic Violations & Damages

All traffic fines and penalties are the renter’s responsibility. Insurance coverage is void in case of damages resulting from the exceptions listed in Section 4.

11. Governing Law

All rentals are subject to Greek law. Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Corfu, Greece.
